Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have a statutory right of withdrawal when buying digital content. For tours you download immediately, one important exception applies — see "Early expiry" below.

This is a translation for convenience. The German version is the legally binding one.

Where to withdraw

If you bought a tour as an in-app purchase via the App Store or Google Play, the respective store operator is your contractual partner for payment. Refunds therefore run through their process:

Withdrawal policy

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of conclusion of the contract.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

For contracts on the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, your right of withdrawal expires early if we have begun performance of the contract after you have

1. expressly consented to us beginning performance of the contract before the withdrawal period has expired, and
2. confirmed your awareness that by giving that consent you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins, and
3. we have provided you with a confirmation of the contract pursuant to § 312f of the German Civil Code.

In practice this means: as soon as you download or start a purchased tour, your right of withdrawal for that tour expires. We obtain your explicit consent to this before the download. If you do not download the tour, your right of withdrawal remains in place until the fourteen days have passed.

Independently of this, you can always contact us about technical problems — we will look for a solution together, even where no right of withdrawal remains.
